Job Description: 

Prairie Community Services (PCS) is looking for a Director of Human Resources. The position is located at the corporate office in Morris, MN, but potentially could be hybrid or remote for the right candidate.

Our organization provides homes and services to people with intellectual or developmental disabilities, mental illness, brain injuries, and other health-related needs wherever identified in communities throughout Minnesota.

Job Summary:
The primary purpose of this position is to coordinate all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources Department and to ensure compliance with all local, state and federal rules and regulations in regard to labor and human resources.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in human resources, business or related field required.

Three to five years’ previous experience in a human resources related role with demonstrable knowledge of principles and procedures for recruitment, selection, training, compensation, benefits, and human resources information systems required.

Knowledge of and experience with related employment law (i.e. COBRA/MN Continuation, FMLA, ADA) required.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Excellent interpersonal skills.

Good project management skills.

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
